Icon 2018 Airmada Opacity Helmet - Purple

If you ever wanted to fan your feathers, the Airmada Opacity is the perfect fit to do just that. Beautifully emblazoned across this helmet are the vibrant blues and purple plumage of a peacock. Each one of the feather on the Opacity helmet has detailed line work including the iconic eye at the top end of each feather. Some may think this may come off as a feminine helmet. As a reminder it is the male peacocks with these types of feathers!

Just as the other Airmada helmets the Opacity helmet is an injection molded polycarbonate shell for extra durability and strength. The helmet shape is long front-to-back and narrow side-to-side. This is to lessen to amount of pressure points while wearing the helmet. The Airmada Opacity has passed multiple helmet safety standards which include, DOT FMVSS 218(USA), ECE 22-05 (Europe), SAI AS1698:2006 (Australia) and PSC (Japan). The front shield is a fog-free Icon optics™ shield. Icon uses a wide shield to give a greater field of vision of the road. The shield of the Opacity Helmet is attached to the rapid-release™ system. This system is to allow for easy removal and replacement of the frontal shield. This can even be done the gloves on, it’s the little things.

The Airmada Opacity Helmet is built to keep the wearer cool and dry. Built into the polycarbonate shell of the Opacity Helmet are several vents. There are 6 intake vents as well as 4 exhaust ports to increase airflow. On the interior of the helmet there is a hydradry™ moisture wicking liner to pull out moisture that will evaporate quickly.
